The Bounceback
lately, I’ve felt a bit “off my game.” I’ve still been showing up with a focus on improving—at work, in the gym—but I’ve noticed it’s come at the expense of other things that matter to me. This is exactly what we talk about: getting back into rhythm when life throws us off. Not being so rigid that we lose the joy of living, but not drifting so far that we lose our center either.
That’s why I believe in having a system—a personal structure—to return to. It helps recalibrate us when things go a little off-track. My current challenge? Figuring out how to level up in the areas I care about, without sacrificing too much of what’s already working.
When we want to evolve, add new goals, or stretch ourselves, it’s important to approach it gradually. Sudden change can throw everything off balance. Ease it in. Let your life adapt.
Life’s going to throw curveballs, regardless. A routine gives you something to fall back on. Imagine living day-to-day with no structure, and then chaos hits—how do you bounce back? It’s possible, of course. But it’s harder.
That’s where I am right now. Some areas are thriving. Others? Slipping a bit. But I’m grateful for the system I’ve built. It’s my safety net and my springboard—pulling me back in, so I can keep growing from here.
